JOB DUTIES: Under the direction of the Park Superintendent will assist in supervising and perform technical and practical work supporting management, conservation, preservation, interpretation, development and use of park areas and resources. Supervise and carry out various operating tasks involved in historical and recreational programming, campgrounds, trails, partnerships, day use operations and maintenance, grounds keeping, housekeeping, education, equipment maintenance, special events, collections management, coordinate with park concessions and marina store, emergency response and accident prevention. Hire, train and supervise seasonal workforce. Represent recreation area, historical site, and agency through public outreach, news releases, public concerns, and educational programming. Perform and oversee fee and permit sales and other office operations including computer operations and programming. Maintain records and prepare appropriate reports. Assist with agency special events and projects at Lewis and Clark SRA and other district/agency locations. Serve as on call basis when park superintendent is absent. Perform other duties as required.
