Test Engineer - Banking Domain (ID:3739)

As a Test Engineer - Banking Domain, you will: Prepare, execute, and manage functional and non-functional testing activities across enterprise applications. Develop and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test reports. Perform test execution, defect tracking, validation, and reporting to ensure high-quality deliverables. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders in Agile multidisciplinary teams. Support test automation initiatives and contribute to improving automated testing coverage. Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives. Validate business and technical requirements within banking and commercial banking applications. Ensure testing activities align with project timelines, quality standards, and delivery goals. Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and testing standards. What You Bring to the Table: 6–8 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance. Minimum 3 years of experience in the Banking or Commercial Banking domain. Strong hands-on experience in test preparation, execution, defect management, and reporting. Good understanding of software testing methodologies, QA lifecycle, and best practices. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and multidisciplinary teams. Affinity toward test automation and automated testing practices. TMAP and/or ISTQB certification is an added advantage. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced project environments. You Should Possess the Ability to: Execute comprehensive testing activities with high attention to detail and quality. Collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders. Identify, document, and track defects through resolution. Adapt quickly to changing requirements and Agile delivery environments. Contribute to automation initiatives and continuous testing improvements. Manage multiple priorities while ensuring timely delivery of testing activities.
