As a member of the Underwriting team, evaluates and underwrites insurance risks within the 10-999 life segment, balancing risk assessment with profitable business growth objectives. Builds and maintains strong relationships with producers, field partners, and internal stakeholders while delivering responsive customer service and underwriting expertise. Applies underwriting guidelines, company procedures, and state regulatory requirements to support sound business decisions. Contributes to departmental initiatives, mentors peers, and supports projects that drive operational excellence and portfolio performance.

*This role requires the ability to travel once per year.

• →Analyze and underwrite insurance risks within the 10-999 life market segment, ensuring sound risk selection and profitable business outcomes.

• →Build and maintain effective relationships with producers, field partners, and internal teams to support business growth and customer satisfaction.

• →Apply underwriting policies, procedures, and state regulatory requirements to make accurate and compliant underwriting decisions.

• →Participate in training, knowledge-sharing, and mentoring activities to support team development and strengthen underwriting capabilities.

• →Contribute to departmental projects, process improvements, and strategic initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and achieve organizational goals.

• →We are considering candidates at the Associate Underwriter or Underwriter levels based on qualifications and experience.
