The Lead Collibra Architect & Modernization Engineer serves as the principal technical lead for platform administration, operating model architecture, and workflow modernization across development, test, and production environments. This role focuses on expanding platform usability, modernizing legacy workflow assets, ensuring governance continuity, and managing technical deliverables within Azure DevOps.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Platform Administration & Security: Administer Collibra communities, domains, asset types, relation types, attributes, statuses, roles, and access permissions across Dev, Test, and Prod. Execute user onboarding/offboarding and support annual user privilege access reviews.
- →Workflow Modernization & Support: Lead the maintenance of 27 existing Collibra workflows (encompassing 60 BPMN files) and evaluate/execute the migration of legacy Eclipse IDE workflows to Collibra Workflow Designer as prioritized by the COR.
- →Operating Model & Customization Architecture: Implement, modify, and document operating models, business glossaries, stewardship structures, reference data code sets, policy objects, and assessment workflows.
- →SaaS Release & Governance Operations: Conduct pre-release review of FedRAMP GovCloud SaaS release notes, regression analysis, and morning-after smoke testing following platform upgrades. Maintain administrative SOPs and runbooks.
- →Agile Management & Governance Support: Track work items (epics, stories, tasks) in Azure DevOps (ADO), participate in monthly sprint planning, and provide technical guidance/training to agency data stewards and stakeholders.
Requirements
~1 min read- Certification: Active Collibra Solution Architect or Collibra Ranger certification
- Hands-on Collibra Experience: Minimum of 3+ years (1 year minimum required) of hands-on technical experience administering and configuring Collibra SaaS implementations.
- Multi-Environment Expertise: Demonstrated experience configuring, administering, and promoting code/assets across multi-environment setups (Dev, Test, Prod).
- Operating Models: Proven track record of designing, implementing, and modifying complex Collibra operating models and asset structures.
- Workflow Tooling: Hands-on proficiency with both Collibra Workflow Designer and Collibra Workflow Manager for Eclipse.
- Agile & Source Control: Direct experience using Azure DevOps (ADO) for source code management and tracking Agile work items under epics, stories, and tasks.
