New Business Vertical - Chief Risk Officer, Non-Interest Banking

The Chief Risk Officer provides enterprise-wide leadership for risk management and Shari’ah-compliant governance, ensuring the effective identification, assessment, monitoring, and mitigation of risks across the Bank.

The role oversees credit, market, liquidity, operational, cyber, compliance, and Shari’ah non-compliance risks while ensuring compliance with CBN, NDIC, IFSB, and AAOIFI standards.

Key responsibilities include developing the enterprise risk management framework, advising the Board and Executive Management on risk matters, promoting a strong risk culture, strengthening internal controls, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The CRO safeguards the Bank’s financial stability, reputation, and sustainable growth.
