The company offers consulting solutions in the areas of Strategy, Marketing, Operations & Organizational Excellence, and Digital, to a range of clients in both the public and private sectors.
The company is heavily involved in the transformation era of Saudi Arabia, driven by the Vision 2030 initiative, in engagement with various government organizations and the Vision Realization Programs as well as the private sector. Strategic Gears has delivered projects in more than 17 sectors for the most well-known entities in the public sector including ministries, regulatory authorities, and the Saudi Stock Exchange, as well major private sector entities in the Kingdom.
Today, Strategic Gears has offices in Riyadh and Jeddah in Saudi Arabia, as well as an office in Cairo, Doha, London and in Madrid. 
Strategic Gears is looking for a Market Research Manager to join the team in Cairo. You will own the research function end-to-end — setting methodology standards, leading primary data collection, and translating findings into actionable insights that drive client strategy. Beyond hands-on research, you will lead and develop a team of researchers, oversee fieldwork quality, and act as a senior point of contact for clients on research scope and deliverables.
  • Lead the design of research methodologies, questionnaires, and discussion guides aligned to client objectives
  • Own primary data collection and oversee fieldwork execution to ensure data quality and on-time delivery
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of research associates, allocating workload across projects
  • Track market trends, developments, and competitive activity to shape research direction and insights
  • Direct qualitative and quantitative analysis, ensuring accuracy and analytical rigor across deliverables
  • Translate findings into clear reports, market assessments, and presentations for senior stakeholders
  • Partner with consulting teams and clients to scope research needs and integrate findings into broader strategies
  • Set and uphold research standards, tools, and best practices across the function

  • Bachelor's in Business, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, or a related field; Master's a plus
  • 8–10 years in market research, business consulting, or data analysis, preferably in a consulting environment
  • Proven experience managing research teams, multiple projects, timelines, and deliverables
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret large datasets into actionable recommendations
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage clients and senior stakeholders
  • Proficiency with market research tools/databases (e.g., Gartner, Statista), Excel, and data visualization tools
  • High attention to detail and a track record of accurate, comprehensive reporting
  • Fluent in both English and Arabic
