Job Summary: Performs work in the cleaning and correction of minor malfunctions of bowling pinsetter operating mechanisms.

• →Clears all pinsetter malfunctions in an expedient manner and records malfunctions in a daily log for mechanic’s use.
• →Performs minor repairs on pinsetter equipment, such as repairs, guide rollers, scissors, minor bowling ball repair, pin rotation, and cleaning of essential components; and minor adjustments.
• →Clear pin jams, turret jams, ball returns, and all other calls related to the operation of the pinsetter.
• →Rotate and clean bowling pins to maintain good bowling conditions.
• →Changes pit carpet and ball wipes daily.
• →Works under the direction of the Bowling Lanes Lead Mechanic to a full range of tasks as assigned.
• →Participate in mandatory safety training and prioritize safety throughout the workday.
• →Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• →Experience and/or training which demonstrates the potential ability to perform the duties of the position.

• →Prior pinsetter experience helpful but not required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• →Knowledge of cleaning materials and safety rules used in a bowling establishment.
• →Ability to perform minor repairs on pinsetters, lanes, and pins using mechanic hand tools.
• →Ability to physically climb under, over, around, and off of moving equipment in a safe manner.
