You will represent Facilities Management / Operations in construction coordination activities and act as a key operational interface between the General Contractor, Project Management, Commissioning teams, and site Operations.

  • Serve as the day-to-day operational liaison with the General Contractor and coordinate construction activities around site operational requirements.

  • Review construction schedules, RAMS, scopes of work, and supporting technical documentation.

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute switching and isolation activities associated with construction work.

  • Prepare, submit, and track construction-related change requests through the site change-management process.

  • Develop and maintain technical procedures, including MOPs, SOPs, and EOPs.

  • Represent Facilities Management / Operations in construction and project coordination meetings.

  • Administer Permit-to-Work, Lockout-Tagout, hot work, and fire-watch processes for contractor activity in critical spaces.

  • Support management of fire and life-safety system impairments resulting from construction activity.

  • Assist with contractor badge and access-control administration.

  • Participate in commissioning, QA/QC inspections, functional testing, and handover activities.

  • Review and validate as-built and red-line drawings and track punch-list items through closure.

  • Lead selected Facilities Management projects from scope development through execution, commissioning, documentation, and closeout.

  • Support preventive and corrective maintenance on critical MEP infrastructure when operational priorities allow.

These responsibilities reflect the original role description, including construction coordination, switching and isolation, change management, procedural development, commissioning support, QA/QC, as-built validation, punch-list closeout, and project ownership.

You bring a strong technical background, sound operational judgment, and the ability to work effectively across contractors, vendors, project teams, and site Operations.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Technical education, engineering background, or equivalent relevant industry experience.

  • Relevant degree preferred.

  • 3+ years of experience in mission-critical environments preferred.

  • Previous experience coordinating contractors or delivering technical projects.

  • Familiarity with formal change-management and Permit-to-Work processes.

  • Ability to read and understand drawings, RAMS, method statements, commissioning documentation, and electrical and mechanical manuals.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Good technical writing capability for procedures such as MOPs, SOPs, and EOPs.

  • Strong problem-solving, planning, coordination, and attention-to-detail skills.

  • A strong commitment to safety, quality, compliance, and task completion.

  • Ability to remain effective in high-pressure and changing operational environments.

This position reports directly to the Facilities Operations Manager, with a dotted-line relationship to the Project Manager – Construction Integration.

The successful candidate will also complete ongoing role-specific training, including Level I training within the first 60 days and Level II training modules within the first six months.

If you have experience in critical facilities, construction integration, commissioning, contractor coordination, or technical operations and enjoy taking ownership from planning through final handover, we’d like to hear from you.

Apply to join T5 Facilities Management in Viborg and help ensure critical infrastructure is delivered safely, accurately, and ready for operations.
