Food Service Worker

The Food Service Worker / Kitchen Helper at St. Patrick Catholic School supports daily cafeteria operations by assisting with food prep, light serving, cleaning, restocking, and occasional dishwashing. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a steady routine, a positive school environment, and predictable daytime hours. The position works closely with the Chef Manager and kitchen team to ensure meals are prepared safely, served efficiently, and the kitchen remains clean and organized. While dishwashing is part of the job, it is not the primary duty.

• Prep food items such as fruits, vegetables, salads, and simple batch ingredients

• Assist with serving during lunch when needed

• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, including wiping surfaces, sweeping, and organizing stations

• Support dishwashing on the day our primary dishwasher is off

• Restock supplies such as utensils, trays, condiments, and paper goods

• Help with end‑of‑day cleanup to prepare the kitchen for the next school day

• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

• Provide friendly, helpful service to students and staff

• No nights or weekends

• Steady school‑day schedule
