Purpose of the role:To lead and execute infrastructure and process improvement projects within the Distribution Centres (DC) network, ensuring operational excellence and business growth support through strategic planning, design, and implementation of innovative solutions, under the guidance of the DC Infrastructure Manage
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Plan, design, and implement infrastructure and process improvement projects from inception to completion
- Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining quality standards and meeting deadlines
- Execute procurement strategies for equipment and systems supporting operational processes
- Oversee project expenditures and ensure adherence to allocated budgets
- Continuously evaluate existing processes and infrastructure to identify efficiency improvement opportunities
- Analyse and implement automation solutions within distribution centre operations
- Develop and maintain infrastructure and process blueprints aligned with business requirements
- Support supply chain operations through engineering excellence and continuous improvement initiatives
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery
- Communicate project progress, risks, and outcomes to senior management
- Foster collaboration across multi-cultural teams and diverse stakeholder groups
- Successful delivery of budgeted productivity improvements through strategic engineering initiatives
- Maintenance of current infrastructure and process documentation according to business standards
- Effective cost management and budget control for assigned projects
- Implementation of operational enhancements that support sustainable business growth
- Development of scalable solutions that enhance distribution centre capabilities
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Project Management/ Supply Chain / Operations Management / Industrial Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 3-5 years of project management experience in distribution centres, warehousing, or large-scale logistics operations
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience with complex operational environments
- Previous exposure to fleet/logistics environments with demonstrated understanding of supply chain dynamics
- Experience managing infrastructure or process improvement projects with measurable outcomes
- Self-motivated with strong initiative and drive to succeed
- Target-driven mindset with focus on measurable results
- Ability to work productively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Adaptability and willingness to learn in rapidly changing environments
- Positive attitude with collaborative team-player approach
- Logical thinking with systematic approach to complex challenges
