What you will do:
This role reports to the Director of Finance and Administration and ensures the organization’s financial health in support of the delivery and expansion of its mission through daily accounting activities.
- Day-to-day entry of accurate revenue recording, including deferred revenue recording and accounting
- Monthly reconciliations, transaction posting, and credit card transaction booking
- Bookkeeping for accounts payable (A/P), accounts receivable (A/R), and sales tax accounting
- Support the tracking and management of grants and restricted funds received
- Leverage technology and software systems, including MS Office suite, QuickBooks Online (QBO), bill.com, Adobe, and other industry-specific software

- Hourly pay rate: $24-27 per hour, with room to grow as they do
- Health and Dental with up to 75% employer contribution to employee premium
- 401 (k) after 6 months of employment
- Generous PTO: Vacation + Sick Time + 11 Paid Holidays
Qualifications:
Top candidates will have proven business accounting experience, with an understanding of non-profit bookkeeping and accounting
- Associate’s degree in accounting, or equivalent experience
- At least 2 years’ experience in daily and monthly accounting processes
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online or equivalent accounting software
- Understanding of grants, donations, and restricted funds tracking and accounting is a plus
- Understanding of deferred revenue booking and accounting is a plus
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with ability to prioritize, listen, offer solutions, and work with flexibility
