We are seeking a hands-on Vibration Analyst / Field Service Technician to support industrial clients with electric motor testing, alignment, balancing, and condition monitoring. This role is field-based and requires travel to customer sites to perform diagnostics, collect data, and assist with motor removal, installation, and repair support.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in rotating equipment, predictive maintenance, and industrial field service who is comfortable working in plant environments.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Perform vibration analysis and condition monitoring on electric motors and rotating equipment
- →Conduct laser alignment and dynamic balancing of motors, pumps, and related equipment
- →Collect and interpret diagnostic data using vibration tools and software
- →Assist with removal, inspection, and installation of electric motors
- →Perform field testing and troubleshooting of industrial equipment
- →Document findings and provide clear reports to customers and internal teams
- →Follow all safety procedures while working in industrial environments
Requirements
~1 min read- Experience with vibration analysis, alignment, and balancing of rotating equipment
- Hands-on experience working with electric motors and industrial machinery
- Familiarity with condition monitoring tools (SKF, Fluke, CSI, or similar)
- Ability to work in industrial environments (manufacturing plants, motor shops, etc.)
- Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Preferred Qualifications:
- ISO CAT I, II, or III Vibration Certification
- Experience as a millwright, field service technician, or reliability technician
- Background in motor repair or rotating equipment service
- Industrial facilities including manufacturing plants and motor shops
- Exposure to noise, heat, and heavy equipment
- Physical requirements include lifting, bending, and working with tools
