Injection Molding Process Technician (Nightshift, 2/2/3 Schedule)

• →Support daily injection molding production while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
• →Work closely with Process Technicians, Quality, Maintenance, Tooling, and other technical teams to ensure smooth production and shift-to-shift handoffs.
• →Assist with mold and press setups, automation and robot setup, auxiliary equipment, material handling, and other requirements needed to bring jobs into production.
• →Monitor molding processes, cycle times, scrap rates, and product quality, making process adjustments as needed.
• →Learn to identify and troubleshoot issues involving machinery, molds, robots, automation, auxiliary equipment, and process conditions that can affect quality or production.
• →Assist with resolving equipment and process problems that contribute to downtime, inefficiency, or scrap.
• →Maintain setup sheets and accurately document process changes during production.
• →Perform and document required in-process checks, including first- and last-shot controls, process deviations, and out-of-control conditions.
• →Complete production reports, process documentation, and other required records accurately and on time.
• →Use the Maximo system to create and administer work orders.
• →Perform in-press mold cleanings with Process Technicians according to established procedures.
• →Collaborate across shifts and departments to maintain consistent quality and production performance.
• →Mentor and shadow the Process Development Specialist to gain broader knowledge of molding processes.
• →Spend designated time working with Tooling and Maintenance to develop experience with preventative maintenance and minor troubleshooting.
• →Learn and follow established standard methods of work, safety requirements, SOPs, and housekeeping standards.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Injection molding processing experience.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
• Commitment to manufacturing safety and following standard work procedures.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts during training and development.
• Vision of 20/25 or better, with or without corrective lenses.

• Enjoy hands-on mechanical or technical work.
• Have experience troubleshooting manufacturing equipment.
• Are comfortable working with machines, automation, robots, molds, or auxiliary equipment.
• Take pride in producing quality products and minimizing scrap.
• Communicate effectively with teammates across shifts and departments.
• Are motivated to learn and grow into increasingly technical manufacturing responsibilities.
