When you apply here, you are applying to TEECOM for a role in Wireless / Network. Rather than interviewing for a single posted role, you will go through a structured Discipline Assessment that establishes your level and demonstrated capability. Once your level is determined, TEECOM's recruiting and leadership teams match your profile to the best available opening on a team that fits your skills, experience, and goals.

Roles span Designer II through Principal, Senior Consultant. Your level — and your title — are determined by your assessment, not by the role you apply to.

If you have meaningful experience in more than one discipline, apply to your primary discipline and tell your recruiter about your secondary discipline(s) during your Introduction Call. You may be scheduled for a separate Discipline Assessment for each one.

TEECOM's Wireless / Network practice designs indoor wireless and network infrastructure for complex, large-scale facilities where coverage, capacity, and reliability are non-negotiable. Our clients span a wide and growing range of industries and facility types across the US, UK, and India.

Work spans enterprise Wi-Fi, in-building cellular coverage systems (DAS, private LTE/5G networks), emergency responder communication enhancement systems (ERCES), and wired networks. Wireless designers at TEECOM use predictive RF modeling tools to design and validate networks, produce construction documents, specify infrastructure, and support installation and post-installation testing. You will collaborate with IT, facilities, and construction teams to deliver networks that meet demanding technical and operational requirements.

At more senior levels, you will lead wireless design strategies, mentor junior engineers, manage client relationships, and help evolve TEECOM's Wireless / Network practice.

Experience designing enterprise Wi-Fi networks using predictive modeling tools such as Ekahau or iBwave
Familiarity with Wi-Fi standards (802.11be / Wi-Fi 7), RF fundamentals, and enterprise WLAN architecture
Understanding of wired network infrastructure — structured cabling, switching, and routing fundamentals — as it relates to wireless deployments
Experience with in-building DAS design, small cell deployment, or private LTE/5G network design — preferred
Ability to produce network infrastructure construction documents — cable plant designs, equipment layouts, and specification sections
Degree in any four-year engineering discipline, computer science, technology management, or a related technical field — or equivalent hands-on experience
iBwave Level III certification - preferred
iBwave Public Safety certification - preferred
Ekahau ECSE Design, Advanced, Troubleshooting certifications - preferred
CWNA, CWDP, or equivalent wireless certification — preferred
PE license (electrical preferred) — preferred
Ability to manage your own work independently across multiple concurrent projects

*TEECOM covers exam fees and study materials for certifications relevant to your discipline, pays a one-time bonus when you pass, and funds all continuing education — including conference attendance.
