Engineering Specialist

• →Product Definition: Create and maintain Items, Bills of Material, Routers, Marking Instructions, and related product information in SyteLine.
• →Manufacturing Documentation: Use approved drawings, specifications, and engineering inputs to create accurate manufacturing records.
• →Drawing & Technical Support: Read and interpret mechanical drawings and work with engineers and drafters to prepare, update, and verify technical information.
• →Production Support: Work with Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain to clarify product or process requirements and resolve routine technical or documentation questions.
• →Engineering Changes: Apply approved engineering changes to affected product and manufacturing records and ensure related information remains aligned.
• →Process Improvements: Identify missing or conflicting information and work with the appropriate engineer or drafter to resolve issues and improve product-definition processes.

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical training or an associate degree is preferred, but relevant engineering or manufacturing experience can provide an equally strong foundation. A four-year engineering degree is not required.
• Experience in an engineering, manufacturing, drafting, quality, planning, or other technical environment.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and understand how parts, materials, and manufacturing operations fit together.
• Comfortable working in computer systems and learning technical software.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple requests and follow issues through to completion.
• Ability to communicate clearly and recognize when an engineering decision or approval is needed.

Experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus:

• CNC machining, programming, tooling, or other hands-on manufacturing experience
• Creating or maintaining Bills of Material, Routers, Item Records, or Work Instructions
• SyteLine or another manufacturing ERP system
• Machined, fabricated, cast, or assembled mechanical products
• CAD, drafting, or drawing control
• Engineering changes or configuration control
• AS9100, ISO 9001, or another controlled manufacturing environment
