Millwright

We're hiring an experienced Millwright to keep the equipment at our New Albany mill running safely and reliably. You'll install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery, working closely with the Mill Manager, Maintenance Lead, and our engineering and production teams to keep downtime to a minimum.

  Troubleshoot and repair conveyors, pumps, compressors, rollers and chains, bearings, and drives

• →

  Rebuild and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components

• →

  Run the preventive maintenance program for mill equipment

• →

  Read blueprints and schematics to install, align, and set up machinery

• →

  Rig and position equipment using hoists and lifting devices

• →

  Document every repair

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance or millwright experience

• Able to weld and cut in all positions and pass a welding test (flat, vertical, horizontal, overhead)

• Skilled with bearing installation and alignment, power transmission, and drive ratios

• Basic electrical skills: wiring motors and taking multimeter readings

• Able to identify and specify parts using the supply room

• Available for nights, weekends, and holidays when equipment needs it

Schedule and pay: Full-time. Multiple shifts available, including days. We'll talk through what works for you during your interview. Starting pay $26+/hr, based on experience.

Location: On site at our mill in New Albany, Mississippi. Work is indoors and outdoors in all weather.
