The Staff Pad is partnering with a premiere fine art logistics company in Pacoima, CA and looking to hire an experienced Driver to ensure safe transportation, delivery, packing, and installation of high-value furniture and artwork. This is a hands-on, high-responsibility role for someone who takes pride in leading in the field, ensuring the safe handling, transport, and installation of high-value furniture and artwork. This position requires professionalism, attention to detail, and exceptional client service. The Driver works under the direction of the Project Coordinator and reports directly to the Operations Manager. What You’ll Do Lead and communicate all company, project, and installation-related information to the team Provide leadership and participate in team meetings focused on operations, planning, and goals Prepare and maintain documentation including: Condition Reports, BOLs, Supply Lists, ADV Forms, Invoices & Matrix sheets Track time, tools, and materials for accurate job invoicing Tag, photograph, measure, inventory, and consolidate items for secure storage and transport Maintain cleanliness and organization of trucks, kits, and equipment daily Train and mentor team members in handling, packing, moving, and installing furniture and artwork Ensure proper handling and transportation of client property according to company standards Identify and resolve issues during installations, moves, and packing operations Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently Maintain safe driving practices and follow driver safety standards Report damages immediately and complete reports within 24 hours Collaborate with internal and external teams to resolve operational challenges Support and train team members on damage prevention best practices Complete all administrative paperwork required for project completion Follow company dress code and always maintain a professional appearance Demonstrate patience, professionalism, and strong customer service with clients Ensure efficient use of time, materials, and company resources Perform additional duties as assigned What We Are Looking For Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 2–3 years of experience in moving, packing, delivery, logistics or installation work Experience handling high-value, fragile, or specialty items Experience using equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, and hand tools Customer service and supervisory experience preferred Additional Skills and Requirements Valid Texas Driver’s License, clean driving record and proof of insurance required Continue developing knowledge of furniture and artwork handling, storage, and transportation. Learn specialized packing, crating, shipping, and installation techniques. Participate in cross-training within operations team Support knowledge sharing and team collaboration across the organization Basic math skills required Strong attention to detail and ability to follow handling protocols Strong verbal communication skills with clients and team members. Ability to push/pull heavy items using appropriate equipment Ability to make sound and independent decisions Ability to walk, crouch, climb stairs, and lift/carry up to 100 lbs. Comfortable with physical activity including bending, climbing, and reaching Manual dexterity required for handling tools and equipment Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment. What You Can Expect Work Environment Exposure to moving mechanical parts, tools, and hazardous materials. Possible exposure to electrical shock from powered equipment. Moderate to high noise levels depending on the project environment. Travel between client and storage locations required Work Schedule Typically, 40 hours per week. Hours generally fall between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM based on project needs. Occasional weekends, overtime, and travel required, including overnight and out-of-state trips (up to 25%).
