About Us:

At The Wellness Centre our Developmental Support Services Team integrates deep knowledge of development across the life span with a naturalistic approach that combines the science of applied behaviour analysis (ABA) and a trauma informed, compassionate and values driven approach to care for clients of all ages. Our goal is to support clients in the most inclusive and culturally attuned way to reach their potential in communication, play, education, social relationships, community independence, and employment.

Primary Duties:

At The Wellness Centre a Behaviour Technician works under direct supervision to deliver an array of behavioural intervention and supports strategies with clients of all ages across home, school, community and employment environments. 

Other Company Responsibilities:

Any other clinical duties assigned by Manager/Director, including but not limited to the following:

1. Maintain the highest standard of confidentiality at all times
2. Maintain documentation in a timely manner using our EHR platform. 
3. Community presentations, appearances, talks, or panel discussions on topics pertinent to the values and services of the Company

Candidate Requirements

• Recognized Credential in good standing (RBT/IBT/ABAT)
• Associates degree in relevant field
• 3 + years experience in the field of disabilities, child development
• Understanding of trauma-informed care in the Caribbean context 
• Demonstrated experience delivering culturally attuned services. 
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Clean police clearance
  
• Valid drivers license
