Hardware Engineering EPM

• Bring strong technical expertise and be comfortable going deep into electrical and systems design when needed.
• Be an excellent communicator.
• 10+ years experience in hardware product development for high volume products
• Demonstrated success leading multi-disciplinary technical development teams
• Experience driving products into high-volume mass production with Asian contract manufacturers
• Deep knowledge of hardware development best practices in two or more of the following areas: Electronics, mechanics, system engineering, or firmware
• Willingness to travel within the US and Asia (sometimes with little notice) based on need in the product development cycle.
• BSEE, ME or Physics

• →Lead the team in the design of electrical, mechanical, firmware & mfg test
• →Partner with Quality and all external partners to ensure complete product validation
• →Have detailed knowledge of all technical issues, project milestones and deliverables
• →Coordinate and drive all work within hardware, and with our development/mfg partners
• →Ensure that all work is planned, owned, and being executed in the right sequence, identifying dependencies, bottlenecks and risks.
• →Own, maintain, and update schedules and work plans
• →Identify gaps in capability and drive systemic change to improve everything that we do
• →Manage ECOs and run retrospectives
• →Own BOM cost and partner with Supply Chain to drive/improve CoGM
• →Regular clear communications of program progress
