Role purpose

Support clear, on-brand writing and concept development across client and agency work. You’ll work with the Creative Director, writers, art directors, designers, account leads, and social team while building skills in research, writing, editing, and creative thinking.

Internship details

  • Term: January through May 2027
  • Schedule: In-office Monday through Wednesday, remote Thursday and Friday

Responsibilities

  • Draft and revise social copy, email and newsletter content, website copy, presentation language, campaign headlines and body copy, and other assignments as needed.
  • Join concept development with art directors and creative partners. Bring headline, message, campaign, and story-angle options into the work early.
  • Collaborate with designers to make sure the words and visual idea work well together.
  • Adapt writing to each client’s brand voice, audience, objective, and channel.
  • Proofread and fact-check every draft for accuracy, grammar, spelling, names, links, and consistency.
  • Incorporate feedback carefully, keep versions organized, and flag missing information or schedule risks early.
  • Support internal reviews and presentations by helping prepare copy and explain the thinking behind your work.
  • Research client businesses, audiences, products, competitors, industry topics, and interview notes to give the work useful context.
  • Use the assigned monday.com task, brief, owner, due date, and time-entry instructions to manage each assignment. Route final copy through the Creative Director for review.

What you’ll learn

  • How a brief becomes a creative idea, then moves through writing, design, review, revision, and delivery.
  • How to write for different audiences, brand voices, and channels.
  • How to contribute ideas in a brainstorm and collaborate with art directors and designers.
  • How to use research, inspiration and feedback to make the work stronger.
  • How to present creative ideas and manage assignments in a team environment.

What we’re looking for

  • Applicants must be current college seniors or recent graduates.
  • A portfolio link is required with your application.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with samples that show your writing ability or creative thinking.
  • Curiosity about brands, audiences, advertising, and how people respond to ideas.
  • An ability to adapt your writing style and take feedback constructively.
  • Strong attention to detail and the organization to keep assignments moving.
  • A collaborative approach, thoughtful questions, and a willingness to contribute ideas.

Success and growth

  • Deliver projects on time and on brief, and address feedback efficiently.
  • Strengthen your writing process by asking focused questions, verifying facts, incorporating feedback, and proofreading every version.
  • Grow in voice adaptation, concise editing, headline writing, and early concept contribution across channels.
  • Build experience and portfolio-quality work.
