Program Assistant

• →Assist community center programming in implementing, conducting and supervising programs which would include Community Kitchen, showers, laundry and other community services.
• →Assist in building relationships with parents and children that participate in these programs.
• →Enforces facility safety regulations and emergency procedures.
• →Maintain order in the Community Center by enforcing rule relating to conduct and the use of equipment and facilities.
• →May be responsible for opening and closing the community center.
• →Help to safeguard all equipment and supplies including tables, chairs, washer, dryer, etc.
• →Responsible for regular cleaning and maintaining the facility when used for programming.
• →Perform other duties as assigned

• Minimum of High School diploma/GED desired, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
• Training and/or education experience in leading social service programs preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old

• Basic computer skills

• Ability to obtain and maintain training and certifications such as First Aid, CPR, and Blood Pathogen
• Complete Safe From Harm training, and keep current as needed
