One Year Minimum
1. Doing ministry/preparing for ministry: 2-3 hours per week (8-12 hours per month)
2. Participating in meetings/training: As requested
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Coordinate mental wellness education workshops.
- →Organize support groups for life transitions, grief, caregivers, or stress management.
- →Develop a network of licensed counseling and mental health referral partners.
- →Train ministry leaders on recognizing when members may need additional support.
- →Promote mental wellness awareness throughout the congregation.
- →Maintain a confidential resource directory.
- →Track participation and evaluate program effectiveness.
- →Each Coordinator will:
- →Attend one monthly Wellness Leadership Team meeting.
- →Recruit and mentor volunteers within your ministry area.
- →Support major church wellness events.
- →Collaborate with other wellness coordinators.
- →Submit a brief monthly activity report with participation numbers, accomplishments, challenges, and goals for the following month.
- →Uphold the mission, values, and policies of the church.
- Workshop attendance.
- Support group participation.
- Community referral partnerships established.
- Volunteer engagement.
