Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Perform routine RNA-seq library preparation on a biweekly basis.
- →Maintain multiple mammalian and cell culture lines.
- →Manage lab inventory and instrumentation.
- →Maintains technical and administrative support for a research project.
- →Analyzes and maintains data and/or specimens. Conducts literature reviews. Assists with preparation of reports, manuscripts and other documents.
- →Performs other related work as needed.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, or a related field.
- Relevant research experience.
Nice to Have
~1 min read- Basic computer skills (including Microsoft Office).
- Knowledge of research techniques and methods.
- Ability to work with little direct oversight.
- Ability to work within a larger research team.
- Attention to detail.
- Biochemistry lab skills (e.g., buffer preparation, pipetting, PCR).
- Organizational and time-management skills.
