Accountant - Real Estate Industry

Location: Limassol, Cyprus Salary: €24,000 – €26,000 per annum Our client is a well-established Real Estate Agency in Limassol, Cyprus, providing comprehensive property services to local and international clientele. As the company continues to grow, they are now seeking a dedicated and experienced Accountant to take full ownership of the accounting function. Job Description The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day financial operations of the office, ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and timely reporting. Responsibilities Handle all bookkeeping duties and maintain accurate financial records. Prepare and submit VAT returns in accordance with Cyprus tax legislation. Process payroll, including social insurance and tax deductions. Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and invoicing. Reconcile bank statements and maintain up-to-date cash flow records. Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports. Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and other relevant stakeholders. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Requirements LCCI Higher or a relevant accounting qualification (e.g. CAT, ACA, ACCA, or university degree in Accounting or Finance). Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in Cyprus. Solid knowledge of Cyprus VAT and payroll regulations. Experience with accounting software (e.g. Intelisoft, QuickBooks, or similar). Excellent command of English; knowledge of Greek is an advantage. Strong attention to detail, organisational, and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Benefits Competitive salary between €24,000 – €26,000 per year.
