Head of DMC Department

A leading Cyprus MICE agency is looking for a Head of DMC Department. This is a full-time, on-site role focused on promoting the DMC (Destination Management Company) department, managing group business quotations, overseeing office operations, and providing group assistance and training. Duties & Responsibilities: Build and manage relationships with new and existing clients, especially within the French-speaking market. Prepare, send, and approve project leader quotations for clients. Maintain and update client databases, incentive programs, and website branding. Develop and propose creative ideas for incentive programs. Represent the department at international exhibitions to promote services. Negotiate with suppliers and hotels to ensure optimal deals and quality. Coordinate confirmed operations with both clients and suppliers. Handle invoicing and financial management related to projects. Oversee the day-to-day tasks of the project leader and the overall department. Requirements Strong project management and leadership skills. Strong negotiation, communication, and managerial skills. Fluency in French and English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus. Cypriot or EU nationality is required. Solid understanding of the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) industry. Experience in working with international clients. Proficiency in computer skills, with at least ECDL certification. Previous experience in tourism and a managerial position is preferred.
