Counseling Psychology Adjunct Faculty 2026-2027

The Morgridge College of Education is looking to hire adjunct instructors for the 2026-2027 academic year to teach a variety of graduate courses in the Counseling Psychology. Courses may vary. More information about the courses can be found on the Registrar’s Office schedule of classes at https://www.du.edu/registrar/course/scheduleofclasses.html. This posting will serve for multiple openings throughout the 2026-2027 academic year.

Course Adjunct Faculty Responsibilities:

• Teach in person once or twice a week (depending on course);
• Create and maintain course Canvas container;
• Meet with students as needed;
• Assign papers, exams and other deliverables as appropriate;
• Grade in a timely manner;
• Participate in recruiting and informational events as needed;
• If the course includes multiple sections, collaborate with instructors of other sections.

• Master’s Degree
• Previous teaching experience
• Successful teaching/facilitation experience with adults at the graduate level.

• PhD
• Successful teaching/facilitation experience with adults in graduate education programs.

While the University’s administrative offices are open Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, faculty schedules vary from term to term and are based on courses taught, service commitments, and research agendas. $1,290 per credit hour taught
