The James C. Kennedy Mountain Campus, part of the Wellness & Recreation Division at the University of Denver, is currently seeking part-time staff to assist with campus operations. These positions are located at the James C. Kennedy Mountain Campus in Red Feather Lakes, CO. Staff members are responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining cleanliness, assisting with program and event coordination, and responding to emergencies.

Assist with daily operations and events at the Kennedy Mountain Campus.
Deliver excellent customer service to all campus groups and guests.
Maintain cleanliness across all campus facilities and equipment, including the dining hall, kitchens, offices, cabins, restrooms, toilets, sinks, water fountains, showers, and more.

Provide outstanding customer service to all participants and guests.
Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies.
Ensure a clean and safe environment.

Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
Strong interpersonal skills, including excellent verbal and written communication.
Capability to manage multiple projects effectively, maintain attention to detail, and work safely in a fast-paced environment.
Strategic and creative thinking.
Discretion in handling time-sensitive and confidential information.
Ability to work efficiently without supervision.

Requirements

American Red Cross CPR/First Aid/AED certification, or a willingness to obtain this certification.
Position-specific certifications as required.

While performing job duties, employees are regularly exposed to wet and humid conditions. Work frequently occurs outdoors and may involve exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is generally moderate.

This role requires moderate to strenuous physical effort, including extended periods of standing, walking, bending, and repetitive hand and arm motions.
Employees must be able to handle objects, tools, or controls with their hands and fingers and may need to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Occasional climbing of ladders up to 10 feet tall and balancing may be required. Employees must also be able to push, pull, carry, and lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities needed include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Part-time; hours will vary depending on the position and event schedules.

$18.81 - $20.00 for Operations Associate Staff
$18.81 - $25.00 for Operations Associate Lead
$20.00 - $50.00 for EMT/Nurse/Medical Staff

The University of Denver provides a compensation range that reflects its good faith estimate of potential pay for these positions at the time of posting. Final salaries will depend on factors such as the selected candidate’s qualifications, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and market data. Compensation will not be based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.
