Calibration - Booking In Technician

PASS Ltd based in Thornaby have been in business since 2001.

We require a Booking In Technician to work in our busy calibration department in Thornaby.

If you can identify a torque wrench from a pressure gauge or you know the difference between a thermometer and a multimeter then this may be the role for you.

Ideally with experience of working in an industrial environment or service department or similar role you will be responsible for the following:

• unboxing daily instruments received from customers
• removing and keeping all associated paperwork
• photographing the instrument
• categorising the type of instrument
• booking the instrument to the correct customer account on the PC
• liaising with the Calibration Admin team regarding queries.
• dealing with customers at the trade counter.

You'll need a great teamwork ethos, ability to be pro-active and an eye for detail as you'll need to be accurate in everything that you do.

You'll also need to know your way around a PC.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Working Hours: 36.5 Monday to Friday

Annual Leave: 22 days, increasing to 25 days after 5 years, plus bank holidays
