Assembly Production Support Specialist - Day Shift - Saturday to Monday (5:00am to 5:00pm)

US Conec is seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Support Specialist to join our team in Fort Worth, TX. In this role, you’ll lead quality assurance activities within the Assembly Department by ensuring products meet defined quality standards and customer requirements. This position serves as the first point of contact for quality-related decisions on the production floor, partnering with Quality, Operations, and Engineering to drive defect reduction, support operators, and maintain consistent quality performance. The Assembly Production Support Specialist provides guidance, training, and real-time decision-making to ensure adherence to standard processes and acceptable product criteria.

 

Responsibilities

  • Performs detailed product inspections using microscopes and other measurement tools to ensure compliance with quality standards.

  • Makes real-time decisions on product acceptability, clearly defining pass/fail criteria for operators and leads.

  • Supports operators in understanding quality expectations, including identifying defects and adhering to inspection standards.

  • Partners with the Quality team to align on quality standards, containment actions, and corrective measures. 

  • Analyzes quality data (rework, scrap, defects) to identify trends and drive continuous improvement efforts.

  • Communicates quality concerns, trends, and expectations clearly to Leads and Supervisors to ensure alignment across shifts.

  • Leads containment activities for non-conforming material, including segregation, documentation, and escalation as needed. 

  • Assists in root cause analysis efforts and supports implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

  • Ensures adherence to Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPI), quality standards, and audit requirements on the production floor.

  • Provides hands-on training and coaching to operators on proper inspection techniques and quality expectations.

  • Maintains accurate quality documentation, including inspection results, defect tracking, and audit findings.

  • Acts as the primary quality point of contact during the shift, ensuring timely resolution of quality issues

  • Collaborates with Engineering and Technicians to address product or process-related quality concerns

  • Supports internal audits and ensures compliance with company quality systems and procedures.

  • Drives a culture of accountability and consistency in quality standards across the Assembly Department.

 

Requirements

  • Requires high school diploma.

  • 2-4 years’ experience using microscopes and inspection tools required.

  • Strong ability to identify defects and determine product acceptability based on defined standards

  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to coach and influence operators, leads, and supervisors.

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced production environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks to meet production and quality deadlines.
