Project Manager

Keller is looking for an experienced Project Manager based out of our Houston, TX location. 

• Identify new business opportunities and collaborate with management on overall strategy and resource alignment.
• Support the identification of new markets, clients, and technologies while building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Lead proposal development, including risk assessment, profit optimization, estimating, engineering input, technical writing, site visits, and client Q&A.
• Negotiate contracts and ensure a clear understanding of all contractual requirements.
• Coordinate with the pre-construction team, as applicable.

• Maintain full compliance with Keller risk management policies and procedures.
• Proactively identify major risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies to protect the company.

• Oversee design coordination, submittals, material procurement, pre-job planning, and project scheduling.
• Plan and lead pre-project meetings with Superintendents and other key stakeholders.
• Partner with the project team to develop strategies that maximize project profitability.

• Build, lead, and support high-performing project teams.
• Ensure all work is executed in accordance with project specifications and requirements.
• Collaborate with branch and project teams to maintain schedule adherence and budget performance.
• Identify and resolve challenges while capitalizing on opportunities to enhance project outcomes and profitability.

• Identify, track, and manage project changes; escalate issues as necessary to ensure proper resolution.

• Review and approve weekly and monthly financial reports, forecasts, budgets, and key performance metrics throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee accounts receivable (A/R) collections.

• Ensure full compliance with Keller and OSHA safety standards and requirements.
• Partner with HSEQ in the event of a safety incident to support employees and project teams in alignment with company policy.
• Address and resolve all quality nonconformance issues.
• Exercise stop-work authority when safety or quality concerns arise.

Background Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, Experience)• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred.• Minimum 7-10 years geotechnical, construction or industry related experience preferred. • Excellent computer, written and verbal communication skills necessary
