The Project Manager II role is responsible for the management of work both within the development team and also for the professional services implementation team. They are responsible for the intake and management of client enhancements, system bugs, and project requests. They are responsible for communicating feasibility, creation of scope of work documents, costs, scheduled timelines and potential delays to clients. They are responsible for resourcing the project team and ensuring work is being completed on time and within budget. They are responsible for owning and maintaining client relationships. 

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Tech Support on the intake of client requests 
  • Work closely with professional services implementation team on managing projects, resources, timelines, and budgets
  • Strong ability to collaborate with internal teams and across departments
  • Communicate feasibility, cost estimates and scheduled timelines to clients
  • Coordinate between clients and developers to obtain clarity around request or issues, utilizing the most appropriate communication method
  • Prioritize and schedule enhancements/projects for developers to work on
  • Coordinate between internal staff, as well as third parties, to work together on items that require cross-team coordination
  • Manage issues and risks that arise
  • Own client relationships and act as a necessary point of contact and escalation for said clients
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication and scheduled calls to identify priorities, provide updates and discuss issues
  • Learn basic navigation and troubleshooting skills, specific to the IMS system
