Surgical Services

Responsible for planning, organizing, and administering patient care within the scope of his/her training and expertise, collaborating with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes is met. This is done in conjunction with the objectives and policies of the hospital and the Nurse Practice Act of the State of Tennessee.

SHIFT/HOURS-DAYS
Full time; 36 hours a week 4 10-hour shifts per week 10-hour shift 4 days a week. Tuesday-Friday 7a-5:30p - to include some weekends-to include some weekday call and 1 holiday call. Call begins after the normal shift at 5:30 - usually 3-4 call days per month and at least 1 call on the weekend Saturday or Sunday 7a-7p - 24 hours. There is an occasional need to stay over to finish cases but this volunteer based.


IMPORTANT CRITERIA:
--Must live within 30 minutes of the hospital
--Must have Circulator experience
