→Completion of a Medical Assistant Certification.,
→Emotional stamina to work in a stressful environment and relate to patients, hospital staff, and visitors.
→Current CPR Certification.
→Typing speed 30wpm. Minimum 2-3 years experience with Windows operating system and Windows based programs required. Internet skills desired.
→Must include 2 year minimum on the job recent experience necessary; specifically, knowledge in Orthopedic Surgery office.
→able to exercise appropriate decision making in determining follow up actions, work effectively under changing work assignments.
→Familiar with EMR (prefer EPIC and Centricity).
