About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Equipment Operator with proven experience in underground utility installation, powerline construction, substation projects, and foundation work. This is a great opportunity to join a dedicated team working on essential infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment including excavators, backhoes, trenchers, and skid steers.
- Perform excavation and installation of underground utilities and conduit systems.
- Support powerline and substation construction activities.
- Assist with concrete foundation preparation and installation.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and maintenance.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Collaborate with crew members and supervisors to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating equipment in utility and powerline environments.
- Familiarity with underground utility systems, electrical infrastructure, and foundation work.
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and utility maps.
- Strong understanding of job site safety and OSHA regulations.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to travel to various job sites, including overnight stays
