Position Summary:

​Vocational Employment Project Coordinators administer, monitor, and report out on assigned special project within the Employment program. Works integrally within clinical treatment teams to align vocational goals with recovery outcomes, focusing on rapid job search, placement, and long-term career sustainability. By collaboratively managing the development of community jobs and ensuring quality placements, and that both the people we serve and our employer partners achieve mutual success. Responsible for coordinating and delivering high-fidelity vocational rehabilitation services to support the people we serve (PWS) in achieving their community employment goals. This role leads job development and placement activities, including the cultivation of strategic employer partnerships to ensure quality job matches across a variety of work experiences and employment types.

Compensation:

  • $31.25/hr, $65,000/yr

 

Responsibilities & Job  Duties

  • ​​Develop workflow, channels of communication, and procedures for the program.  
  • Administer, monitor, and report out on assigned special project within the Rehabilitative Services Department.  
  • ​​Coordinate care between the rehabilitation department and clinical teams; collaborate with treatment clinicians and support staff. 
  • Coordinate care between the rehabilitation department and the clinical teams.   
  • ​​Complete comprehensive vocational assessments, utilizing aptitude, interest and other assessment tools.  
  • Responsible for development of competitive community jobs and skill-building activities needed to attain employment.  
  • Develop individualized training plans for the people we serve in the vocational/rehabilitation program.  
  • Complete timely and accurate data, reports, and clinical documentation as required.  
  • ​​Coordination of activities for the people we serve at assigned workstations/sites at WellPower or outside employers.  
  • Conduct rehabilitative and goal-oriented employment opportunities. 
  • Identify programs and access eligibility to ensure access and opportunity for the people we serve. 
  • Research and job develop community employers that help with job placements.  
  • Monitor the progress of the people we serve and activities with the people we serve, documenting services provided.  
  • Plan and facilitate social activities within the community and with the program.  
  • Other duties as assigned 

 

Requirements

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree with minimum of three years of vocational experience
