Mold Set-Up Tech

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• →Performs mold changes when available

• →Maintains a clean and safe work environment

• →Documents all mold repairs, mold locations, and planned repairs

• →Sets up injection molds and related equipment for sample and production runs

• →Starts up and cycles in mold in accordance with documented cycles and startup procedures

• →Troubleshoots and corrects problem processes

• →Documents and reports mold and equipment related problems

• →Documents daily events in technician log

• →Monitors cycle times and part quality

• →Documents and records cycle information for future use assignments.

• →Inspects molds to identify the cause of quality issues or defects.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of:  Spreadsheet Software (Excel) and Electronic Mail Software (Outlook).

• Valid driver license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Forklift and Overhead Crane Certifications
