Loader Day Shift

Description

• →Read work orders to accurately load materials averaging 20-25ft long onto flatbed trailers.
• →Operate a forklift and other material handling equipment.
• →Loads/unload materials from pallets, racks, trailers, and shelves by hand or forklift.
• →Install bracing or dunnage to prevent shifting or damage to material in transit utilizing hand tools.
• →Move materials to designated areas utilizing a forklift or overhead crane.
• →Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination.
• →Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during the loading/unloading process.
• →Report issues or concerns to the supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience handling long material (30-45ft long) with a forklift.
• Must be able to work in all outdoor weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail with a desire to produce high quality and accurate work.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
• Ability to read work orders and follow oral instructions.

• Ability to lift and move up to 50lbs.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, and reach for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work in an environment that may be noisy and/or require PPE.
