Job Title: Masonicare Special Projects Intern
Department: Office of Community Engagement
Student Employment Type: Federal Work-Study        
Responsibilities:
  • Research industry trends, competitors and best practices in senior living and healthcare
  • Prepare reports, dashboards and presentations
  • Assist in coordinating project timelines, compiling meeting materials, notes and follow-up action items
  • Support process-improvement efforts designed to enhance efficiency and service quality
  • Collaborate with other departmental areas in the completion of projects
  • Assist with leadership meetings, special events and other projects as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Interest in healthcare, aging services, senior living or business operations
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including, Word, Excel and Outlook
Hours of Position: Student will be expected to work up to 6 hours per week between the hours of 9am – 5pm Monday through Friday.  Occasional weekend and evening hours may be necessary to assist with special events and meetings.
