Job Title: New Reach Operations Team Assistant
Department: Office of Community Engagement
Student Employment Type: Federal Work-Study
Responsibilities: • Provide general administrative support to the Operations Team, including data entry, document organization, and filing (electronic and physical).
• Assist with tracking work orders, service requests, and facilities-related tasks.
• Support inventory management and supply coordination for programs and office needs.
• Help maintain internal databases and spreadsheets to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
• Assist with scheduling, communications, and coordination across departments as needed.
• Support special projects related to operational improvement, process documentation, or compliance tasks.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support organizational operations.
Qualifications:

• Good interpersonal skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace (Word/Docs, Excel/Sheets, Outlook/Gmail)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow instructions accurately.
• Professional demeanor and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
• Prior administrative or office experience (academic or volunteer) is preferred, but not required
• Comfort working independently as well as part of a team

Hours of Position: •Operational hours of the New Reach offices are Monday-Friday 9am – 5pm. Applicants must have sufficient time available during the operational hours to work between 6-8 hours per week.
