Senior PHP Developer / Technical Lead

We are recruiting on behalf of a growing fintech company developing and scaling its own digital products. The platform is live, actively used by customers every day, and continues to evolve as the business grows.

We are looking for a Senior PHP Developer / Technical Lead who enjoys combining hands-on development with technical leadership. This role is ideal for someone who wants to influence architecture, engineering standards, and team effectiveness while remaining close to the technology.

You will play a key role in shaping how software is built, delivered, and maintained across the organization. Beyond writing code, you will help establish development standards, improve processes, support technical decision-making, and contribute to the long-term scalability of the platform.

This is a role for someone who enjoys ownership and wants to have a meaningful impact on both the product and the engineering culture.

• →Lead by example through high-quality software development
• →Drive code quality through code reviews and engineering best practices
• →Contribute to architectural decisions and system design
• →Plan and coordinate development activities together with the engineering team
• →Participate in sprint planning, task prioritization, and delivery management
• →Work with databases, performance optimization, and production environments
• →Maintain and improve technical documentation
• →Support the growth of the engineering team through mentoring and knowledge sharing
• →Investigate and resolve complex technical and production issues when needed
• →Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions

• Strong experience with PHP and Laravel
• Solid understanding of OOP principles and software design patterns
• Experience applying SOLID principles in real-world projects
• Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) concepts
• Experience working with relational databases in production environments
• Confidence working with Linux-based environments
• Understanding of deployment, monitoring, and application performance
• Strong problem-solving skills and a structured approach to development
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
