We are the Advanced UX Team at Woven by Toyota.

We are a cross-functional, multi-cultural team of talented designers and researchers dedicated to crafting intuitive, innovative, and visually compelling user experiences that define the future of automotive interfaces. Our focus is on Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving, leveraging thoughtful, data-validated designs to bring the next generation of driving experiences to life.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for a strategic UX Manager who can work with automotive UX experts to craft the future of ADAS UX. You connect the dots between user insights, safety regulations and cutting-edge technology, then translate that complexity into a crisp vision that executives can rally behind and engineers can execute on. Your leadership is principled and pragmatic. If you are motivated by the chance to define how millions of drivers trust and interact with automated driving systems, then we would love to meet you.

Establish a clear multi-year UX vision for AD/ADAS products

Translate that vision into phased feature priorities and release timelines

Craft Concise presentations, demos and messages that align leaders, engineers, UX experts and customers

Grow and guide a small, cross-functional group of UX Strategists

Champion UX output and products across the company and with key stakeholders

8+ years of experience in UX Strategy / Product Design, including 4+ years leading automotive or mobility HMI design programs

Native level of Fluent to near-native level Japanese and Business level of English proficiency

Experience working in the automotive industry OEM

Familiarity with Design Tools (Figma, Unity etc.)

Bachelor’s in HCI, Industrial Design, Cognitive Science or related field

Driver's license

Expert knowledge of multi-modal HMI in the automotive industry
