The coordinator will help keep installations safe, organized, documented, and aligned with the project schedule. Semiconductor experience is preferred, and relevant complex industrial construction experience will be considered.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•  Coordinate day to day electrical construction activities across assigned fab, cleanroom, subfab, central utility, support building, and process utility areas as applicable to the project.

•  Support installation planning and field coordination for low and medium voltage distribution, switchgear, transformers, panelboards, motor control centers, variable frequency drives, UPS systems, backup power, and related electrical infrastructure.

•  Track conduit, cable tray, cable pulling and termination, grounding and bonding, equipment power connections, lighting, emergency power, and other electrical installation activities.

•  Coordinate instrumentation and controls scope, including field instruments, sensors, transmitters, actuators, control panels, control wiring, PLC and SCADA interfaces, building automation, and equipment monitoring systems.

•  Help align electrical and controls work with HVAC, exhaust, process cooling, ultrapure water, bulk and specialty gas, chemical systems, life safety systems, and semiconductor tool installation or hookup interfaces.

•  Review drawings, specifications, and installation priorities with field teams. Assist with RFIs, submittals, work packages, material tracking, field changes, and constructability issues.

•  Participate in short interval planning, look ahead schedules, progress walks, trade coordination meetings, and resolution of access, sequencing, and installation conflicts.

•  Support quality inspections, installation verification, punch lists, testing, point to point and loop checks, commissioning readiness, energization coordination, and system turnover documentation.

•  Maintain accurate progress updates, action logs, and project records. Escalate schedule, safety, quality, and scope issues to the Electrical Construction Manager or project leadership.

•  Work collaboratively with the owner’s representatives, electrical subcontractors, design team, facilities operations, and other trade partners while supporting site safety and lean construction practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

•  Approximately 3 to 5 years of electrical construction, field coordination, project engineering, or related experience in semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, industrial, or mission critical facilities.

•  Working familiarity with construction drawings and electrical systems, including power distribution, raceways, cable routing, grounding, and instrumentation and controls interfaces.

•  Ability to coordinate multiple contractors and priorities, document field progress, communicate clearly, and follow issues through resolution.

•  Exposure to semiconductor fab, cleanroom, subfab, process utility, or tool hookup construction is strongly preferred. Comparable complex industrial experience may be considered.

•  Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, project schedules, and construction tracking tools. Experience with Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or digital construction management platforms is a plus.

•  Knowledge of site safety expectations and applicable electrical installation requirements. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is preferred.

•  Associate or bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent relevant field experience will be considered.
