About the role:

We are looking for a self-starter with a proven track record of building relationships and taking full ownership of client inputs to deliver results. The ideal candidate owns the full strategic relationship with their clients and serves as a senior advisor on the account, using Pacvue's platform and data to drive growth, surface opportunities clients might otherwise miss, and set the advertising strategy that guides execution across retail media platforms. Day to day, this includes creating and managing complex paid search and display media strategies for enterprise brands and agencies across platforms like Amazon, Walmart, Target, and Instacart, providing annual and ongoing budget recommendations to help clients hit their business objectives, using Amazon Marketing Cloud and third-party measurement tools to deliver advanced insights, and presenting a clear action plan that gets senior leaders aligned. This role combines exceptional analytical skills with creative problem-solving and is singularly focused on client results. It is an individual contributor role and does not require people management, though the ideal candidate will serve as a mentor, subject matter expert, and thought leader for the broader team. This team owns some of our most complex and highest-value accounts, spanning both enterprise brands and agency-managed clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Fully own the strategic client relationship by building trust and transparency with enterprise brands and agencies and delivering results against joint business objectives, serving as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders up to executive leadership
  • Develop strategic growth plans for complex, multi-retailer accounts, gain client alignment, and fully execute against the aligned upon approach
  • Create and execute retail media strategies, including paid search and display, to drive traffic, conversion, and organic search ranking improvement
  • Develop annual budget recommendations, allocate across campaigns and retailers, and build an annual marketing calendar incorporating key drive periods including relevant macro and micro seasons, new product launches, and client media calendars
  • Leverage Pacvue technology to manage budget pacing, analyze trends, and monitor campaign performance, communicating with the client and delivering results within client budget thresholds
  • Measure efficacy of the strategy through regular reporting against core retail media KPIs and ad-hoc audits to identify areas for refinement
  • Prepare weekly and monthly retail media performance reports, analyze category trends, measure advertising and total sales, identify account trends, and perform competitive benchmarking across the client's product portfolio
  • Use Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) and third-party measurement tools to evaluate performance, optimize strategies, and deliver advanced insights and actionable recommendations to clients
  • Highlight incremental sales opportunities to clients through participation in retailer programs, additional promotional opportunities, and retail readiness recommendations to improve operational KPIs
  • Maximize retailer share, revenue, and profitability for clients while integrating client's internal objectives such as driving innovation or key items or product lines
  • Create strategic retail media plans for new product launches, including recommendations for retail readiness across core KPIs
  • Apply creative problem-solving to overcome client challenges, tailoring solutions to deliver both immediate wins and long-term growth
  • Lead executive-level business reviews and strategic presentations with client leadership and Pacvue management
  • Mentor and coach teammates and serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for complex client situations, partnering cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Support teams to drive resolution
  • Provide thought leadership by giving input on Pacvue's platform development, contributing to client training initiatives, and supporting industry education programs by sharing expertise
  • Identify and champion opportunities to streamline processes and build repeatable workflows, including through the use of AI tools, to improve team efficiency and client outcomes
  • Responsible for reporting, analysis and communication with Pacvue and client management teams

Skills & Qualifications:
