Stock Handler

We are committed to safety, quality, and operational excellence. We are immediately hiring for experienced Stock Handlers on 2^nd & 3^rd shifts for our Chicago, IL location.

Job Summary

The Stock Handler is responsible for supporting production operations through the safe handling, movement, staging, and packaging of raw materials and finished products. This position ensures production lines remain supplied, finished goods are properly stacked and prepared for shipment, and work areas are maintained in a clean and organized manner. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

• Move and handle raw materials and finished goods using hand trucks and pallet jacks.
• Stock production lines and packing stations with materials and supplies.
• Stack, transport, and prepare finished products for shipment.
• Perform labeling, packaging, and rework activities as needed.
• Maintain production records and report discrepancies.
• Ensure work areas remain clean, safe, and organized.
• Inspect pallets and finished products to verify quality standards.
• Support production operations and perform other duties as assigned.

Pay & Work Schedule

• $18/hr + applicable shift premium
• 2^nd shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM / $1/hr shift premium
• 3^rd shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM / $2/hr shift premium
• Training may take place on 1^st shift (6 AM – 2:00 PM)
• Monday - Friday; overtime and Saturdays as needed
• Shift assignments may vary based on operational needs and availability

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety and quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Reliable attendance and adherence to safety standards.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment 

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; push/pull up to 75–100 lbs
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, and grasping throughout the shift.
• Manual dexterity required to operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts.
• Exposure to manufacturing equipment, moving machinery, inks, solvents, and other production materials.
• Ability to work in a noisy environment and varying temperatures, including hot and cold conditions.
