Overnight Telehealth Psychiatrist - PRN

• →Must have interstate compact license.
• →The psychiatrist will conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments to diagnose mental health disorders.
• →Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications ensuring that treatment plans are effective and adjusted as needed
• →The psychiatrist will create individualized treatment plans that include medication management, psychotherapy, and other interventions. 
• →Chart audits, peer review, meetings, provider management, etc.
• →The psychiatrist will maintain up to date medical records, ensuring compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and standards of care.
• →Maintain and monitor confidentiality of patients and their files; audit files to determine that all services provided are documented; review status of patients to verify that all treatment and therapeutic programs are completed.
• →The psychiatrist will work closely with psychologists, social workers, nurses, and staff to provide integrated and coordinated care.
• →Provide immediate psychiatric care in crisis situations, such as suicide attempts or acute psychiatric episodes, and work to prevent incidents through proactive mental health management
• →Endeavor to comply with the requirements of applicable regulations, laws, rules, procedures, policies, standards and/or contract.

Qualifications:

• →Psychiatrist is required to have interstate compact license
• →2 years of inpatient experience (trauma experience required)
• →Board Certified or Eligible (within 1 year of residency completion) in Psychiatry   
• →Valid and unrestricted DEA 
• →Must be proficient in using Telemedicine technologies to treat patients remotely
• →Open to PMHNP collaboration (preferred)
