Power generation facilities run on uptime — and the systems that monitor and protect them need to be built right, from the ground up. As a Field Systems Engineer for Monitoring & Diagnostics OTR (Order-To-Remittance) project execution and deployments, you’ll be the technical resource responsible for deploying the monitoring infrastructure that enables monitoring of gas power assets. From design to physical installation of servers, switches, and firewalls at customer sites, you'll own the full technical project lifecycle — from blueprint to commissioning.

Responsibilities

→Own technical delivery end-to-end: Lead technical design definition, site integration planning, and the physical installation of hardware on-site for M&D platform deployments — including servers, peripheral devices, and associated network infrastructure.

→Be the go-to technical expert: — Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers and internal teams during deployments, leading troubleshooting efforts in real time and ensuring all network and system designs meet applicable industry and GE Vernova standards.

→Drive documentation and procurement accuracy: Generate Bills of Materials (BOMs) create site specific design documents and installation plans, update mechanical drawings, and issue material requisitions aligned to technical specifications and project timelines.

→Navigate complexity across sites and functions: Coordinate simultaneous project deployments across multiple customer locations, time zones, and internal teams — applying solid monitoring and control practices to maintain quality throughout.

→Show up in the field: Travel to customer sites approximately 30–50\% of the time for installations, commissioning, troubleshooting, and testing — both domestically and internationally.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $89,300.00 and $148,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
