We are a busy, warm family with two young school-age children, living in a welcoming, intentional home in the Waltham area. With both parents working demanding professional roles, our days move at a fast pace and rely on a thoughtful daily flow. Between school pick-ups and busy late afternoons, we rely on structured daily routines to ensure our home stays a calm and well-managed home.
To support our family’s routine, we are looking for a true household partner who can step into our space and bring a quiet, steady energy that makes everything feel seamlessly managed. We appreciate a clean, intentional aesthetic where things are kept tidy, organized, and running smoothly behind the scenes. This is far more than a babysitting role; we want someone who takes genuine ownership, proactively notices what needs to be done, and takes pride in managing the day-to-day rhythm of our home.
Above all, we are seeking a long-term dynamic built on mutual respect, trust, and clear communication. Our ideal candidate will feel like a natural extension of our household; professional, grounded, and deeply invested in the well-being of our home and children. Having someone step into our space with a capable, self-directed mindset will give our family the consistency and balance we need to thrive.
You bring a grounded, unshakeable calm to every environment you enter. You are naturally observant and proactively maintain order without needing constant direction. You are the kind of person who sees a pile of Pokémon cards on the floor and quietly puts them in a binder without being asked. You understand how to manage a home with high standards and bring a direct, professional, and clear approach to your communication, keeping the family seamlessly informed through digital tools and quick updates.
You bring a warm, patient, and thoughtful approach to working with children, providing steady support while encouraging their independence and growth. You know how to cultivate quiet moments for reading with a younger child while guiding an older child to build independence with their homework. You bring a mature, mindful approach while prioritizing meaningful, active engagement during key afternoon transitions.
You thrive in an environment where your proactive contributions are valued, your work is visible, and deep trust is built over time. You take pride in crafting routines that bring ease to a busy family's daily life, and you are excited by the prospect of stepping into a steady, multi faceted role where you can become an essential, long term partner behind the scenes.
