Postdoctoral Fellow in Single-Nucleus Studies of Psychiatric and Substance Use Disorders

Perform statistical and bioinformatic analyses of these data, contribute to the development and optimization of analytical pipelines, and publish findings in leading scientific journals.

• Candidates must hold a PhD in psychiatric genetics or a related field, or an combination of education and equivalent professional training.
• Applicants should possess excellent written English skills and a strong publication record demonstrating primary responsibility for drafting manuscripts.
• Expertise in Linux/Unix and in performing statistical and bioinformatic analyses using R or Python is essential.
• Demonstrated experience working in and fostering an environment of respect, professionalism and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from various backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU.

Salary Range: $63,480- $77,076
