As a Senior Product Manager, Payroll, you will shape the product vision and strategy for payroll solutions designed to support a global workforce. You will own the product roadmap and guide initiatives from discovery through delivery and go-to-market execution. Working closely with engineering, design, senior leadership, and cross-functional experts, you will translate complex customer needs into scalable, intuitive product experiences. You will help drive innovation in a fast-paced, remote-first environment while balancing strategic product development with high-priority customer needs. Define and communicate a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap for your area of responsibility, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives and customer needs.

Lead product initiatives throughout the entire product development lifecycle, from identifying opportunities and gathering requirements to execution, launch, and ongoing improvement.

Collaborate with engineering, product design, senior leadership, and subject-matter experts to translate strategic priorities into effective, user-centered solutions.

Gather, prioritize, and address the diverse needs of customers and internal stakeholders across multiple product lines.

Drive cross-functional alignment and maintain momentum in a fast-paced, remote-first environment, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality product outcomes.

Balance long-term product strategy and core development initiatives with urgent customer escalations and evolving business priorities.

Apply strong product management judgment to make informed decisions, manage competing priorities, and continuously improve the payroll product experience.

Requirements

At least 5 years of product management experience, ideally within a fast-growing startup or scale-up environment.

Demonstrated ability to develop product strategies, define roadmaps, and drive execution from initial concept through successful delivery.

Strong understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) principles, with the ability to collaborate effectively with product designers and engineering teams.

Proven experience working cross-functionally with diverse stakeholders, gathering customer insights, and translating complex requirements into actionable product initiatives.

Strong prioritization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, particularly when balancing strategic objectives with urgent customer needs.

An independent, proactive, and autonomous leadership style, with the ability to take ownership of initiatives and drive progress in a distributed team environment.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and align teams around a shared product vision.
