As a Senior Product Designer, Risk Modeling, you will shape intuitive digital experiences that help organizations identify, assess, prioritize, and manage risk with confidence. You will transform complex risk-management processes into clear, connected workflows that support informed decision-making across security, compliance, and business teams. Working closely with Product, Engineering, Research, Data, and customer-facing stakeholders, you will lead design initiatives from early discovery through launch and continuous improvement. You will develop scalable interaction patterns and information architectures for configurable, data-rich enterprise products. Your work will help users move beyond manual documentation toward proactive risk modeling, transparent decision-making, and actionable insights. This remote opportunity is ideal for an experienced designer who combines strong product thinking, systems-level design expertise, and exceptional attention to user experience. You will also influence broader design standards by creating reusable patterns for trustworthy, accessible, and scalable product experiences.
End-to-End Product Design: Lead the complete design lifecycle for Risk Modeling initiatives, from problem discovery and definition through prototyping, implementation, launch, measurement, and iterative improvement.
Complex Risk Workflows: Design intuitive experiences for risk registers, risk scenarios, configurable scoring models, controls, ownership assignments, treatment plans, approvals, residual risk, and reporting.
Risk Modeling and Decision Support: Help users move from documenting risks to understanding potential impacts, evaluating scenarios, prioritizing responses, and making informed decisions.
Information Architecture and Interaction Design: Develop scalable information architectures and interaction models for data-intensive product experiences, including tables, dashboards, reports, detailed views, and interconnected workflows.
Trustworthy and Transparent Experiences: Establish design principles that support permissions, auditability, explainability, transparency, and clear communication of uncertainty. Ensure users can review, approve, update, and audit decisions while preserving the context behind them.
Customer Research and Discovery: Conduct customer interviews, discovery sessions, and usability testing with risk managers, security and compliance leaders, business stakeholders, risk owners, and other relevant users.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Engineering, Research, Data, Customer Success, Solutions, and domain experts to translate customer needs, business requirements, technical constraints, and data considerations into effective design solutions.
Product Strategy and Trade-Offs: Help teams determine when configurable systems, automation, or guided workflows best address customer needs. Evaluate design alternatives and communicate recommendations based on user value, feasibility, and long-term scalability.
Design Systems and Reusable Patterns: Collaborate with design system teams and fellow product designers to establish consistent, reusable patterns for risk-related experiences across the broader product ecosystem.
Design Documentation and Communication: Produce design briefs, domain models, workflow diagrams, prototypes, specifications, and other artifacts that clarify complex problems and support effective implementation.
Design Quality and Craft: Contribute to design critiques and elevate standards across interaction design, information architecture, UX writing, data visualization, and visual design.
Organizational Improvement: Identify opportunities to strengthen collaboration between design and product teams, improve working practices, and establish effective approaches to solving complex product challenges.
Responsible Use of AI: Incorporate modern tools, including AI where appropriate, to improve design workflows, accelerate exploration, and strengthen outcomes while maintaining quality and sound professional judgment.
